T-Studio - Firmware

The panel 'Firmware' is logical completion the project cycle in T-Studio. It is needed to generate and download the firmware, view error logs and other operations.
There are three types of firmware:
- Demo - for demonstration on Android panel on exhibitions or to potential clients.
- Commercial - for installation on a customer’s object.

Generating Demo firmware
In the 'Firmware' panel select item 'Demo' in the drop-down menu 'Display'. Optionally, you can add a comment on this version of the firmware in the appropriate field. Then click 'Save all changes' button.
Then you can download the firmware. To do this, scroll to the demanded firmware in the table and click the 'Download the firmware from the server' button. Now you can run the firmware on the emulator for testing.
If there is an error message in 'Status' column you should:
- make sure of your actions correctness. Check all steps;
- make sure you have touch panel in your list of equipment;
- If you cant solve the problem in your project choose the firmware build log with the information about error and download it. You should send this file to e-mail: email@example.com. We will answer immediately.
Generating Standard firmware
In the 'Firmware' panel select item 'Commercial' in the drop-down menu 'Display'. Optionally, you can add a comment on this version of the firmware in the appropriate field. Then click 'Save all changes' button.
Then you can download the firmware. To do this, scroll to the demanded firmware in the table and click the 'Download the firmware from the server' button. This firmware should be installed on the server at the customer’s site.
There is also 'Download firmware log from server' button on the 'Firmware' panel. This function can become necessary while contacting THRONE support for technical assistance.
'Refresh firmware list' button can become necessary if Internet connection loss happened during your work with the object.
