Basic interface elements of T-Studio and their purpose
T-Studio’s interface consists of functional panels. Any panel can be shown or hidden by clicking on the corresponding icon in the upper right corner: . A panel switches into edit mode when the properties of the elements are being changed. To close the tab and exit the editing you need either to save the changes or cancel them by clicking Save or Cancel buttons.
Editable fields of properties in the panels are light gray, non-editable are dark gray.
Panels handling
In T-Studio you can perform the following actions with the panels.
Expand to the full size of the window / switch to the former size.
To change the panel's width and the height of the blocks within it - pull the three dots in the needed direction.
Show all tabs and equalize them in width.
(top-right corner of a panel) Go to the Handbook chapter on working with the panel.
(top toolbar of T-Studio) Go to the main page of the Handbook.
When closing, expanding and folding the panels all project data is saved.
Common elements on panels
Add an element of corresponding type (location, enginery, model etc.).
Delete selected element (location, enginery, model etc.).
Descriptions of special buttons are set out on the pages devoted to corresponding panels.
Validation System
T-Studio has the system of validation of data input. Fields containing invalid values are highlighted red box. If the field is not filled, but it is highlighted with red box, it means that the field is required and can not be empty.
Working in T-Studio
Creating the interface for each project is divided into 3 stages.
Stage 1. Creating the 3D-model of a building
Three-dimensional architectural model of the building is a basis for the newly created THRONE interface. The model can be created in a free and easy-to-learn visual editor, Sketchup, or any other application that enables to export COLLADA file. Detailed instructions for preparing the 3D-model are set out in the corresponding chapter.
Stage 2. Configuring of a THRONE interface
The interface of T-Studio has six panels, each of them is used to perform a specific set of actions.
Projects. Creating a new project or load an existing one.
Locations. A breakdown of the object on zones of automation.
Equipment. Creating a list of equipment used in the project of building automation. Binding equipment to locations.
Controllers. Creating a list of controll systems. Binding controllers to the equipment.
Models. Creating and import three-dimensional models for the THRONE interface.
Arrangements. The layout of different ways for location of models in the THRONE interface.
Firmware. Generating and downloading firmwares, error logs and more.
Stage 3. Firmware download
After the completion of the creation of the interface, the developer can test 'Commercial' firmware, to verify operability of the created interface in THRONE Emulator.
Free firmware is available during test period. After the end of the test period the payments for 'Commercial' firmwares will be accepted through regional distributors, their contacts will be provided in a personal message.
