Setting firmware on THRONE equipment

THRONE 3D Control Server

Note: only 'Commercial' firmware is allowed to be installed on THRONE 3D Control Server.

Equipment requirements:

• THRONE 3D Control Server (hereinafter referred to as "server") with installed server application;
• USB flash drive, should have at least 200 (MB) of available space (hereinafter referred to as"flash drive").

Installation:

• copy "Commercial" project file throne-project.ctp, downloaded from T-Studio ("Firmware" panel), into the root of flash drive;
• insert your flash drive into any server's USB port;
• wait for a double beep (it sounds not in every server models; if sound signal is not supported just wait for 10 seconds) (message "THRONE project throne-project.ctp was installed" will be displayed if monitor is connected to the server);
• remove flash drive from USB port.

After following the steps above your project will automatically run on server. Project will also start up automatically after server rebooting.

Smartphone or tablet

Equipment requirements:

• Smartphone or tablet running Android 4.0 or iOS 5.1.1 and later.

Client application installation:

• follow Google Play or Google Play to install client application;
• press "Install";
• on demand confirm your permission to install applications outside the Google Play Store;
• after completing installation press "Run".

Client application is installed to your equipment. It wil run automaticaly after installation, an embedded project will be downloaded to the application.

Shortcut THRONE will appear in the application list. To start up installed application just click on the shortcut THRONE.

Follow steps below depending on the chosen mode of work with project: demo or commercial.

Demo mode:

File download:

• copy project file, downloaded from T-Studio ("Firmware" panel) to any folder on the Android device; you can do it in one of the following ways:
  • connect device derictly to personal computer via USB cable or over the wireless network;
  • via any file hosting service (for example, Dropbox);
  • using e-mail message with an attachment and so on;
• launch client application, if it is not run yet (how to install client application is described above);
• open application settings: click "THRONE" emblem at the rigth bottom corner of the application;
• select "Project settings" in the right section of settings window;
• select type of project load "File";
• specify directory to copied project file;
• press "Load" button to download project to the application;
• exit the menu by tapping 'Back' icon in the upper right corner.

T-Cloud download:

• launch client application, if it is not run yet (how to install client application is described above);
• open application settings: click "THRONE" emblem at the rigth bottom corner of the application;
• select "Project settings" in the right section of settings window;
• select type of project load "T-Cloud";
• specify T-Cloud code to project;
• press "Load" button to download project to the application;
• exit the menu by tapping 'Back' icon in the upper right corner.

Project is downloaded to the client application to work in demo mode.

Commercial mode:

• launch client application, if it is not run yet (how to install client application is described above);
• open application settings: click "THRONE" emblem at the rigth bottom corner of the application;
• select "Project settings" in the right section of settings window;
• select type of project load "Server";
• specify server settings (ip-address, port);
• press "Load" button to download project to the application.

Project is downloaded to the client application from server to work in commercial mode.
